RedMane Technology, a Chicago-based software solutions and systems integration firm, today announced the appointment of Cem Tanyel as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Cem’s appointment follows Tony Lakier’s retirement as CEO.  Tony, RedMane’s founder and CEO for over 20 years, will continue to chair RedMane’s board of directors.

With a career spanning over two decades, Cem brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in technology, software, and professional services. Prior to joining RedMane, Cem held leadership roles at McKesson, Sabre, and other organizations where he championed strategic initiatives, spearheaded customer-centric efforts, and fostered a culture of innovation.

Cem holds a Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University, a Master of Computer Science from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
