• Rapid D-SNAP Implementation

The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) were devastated by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Citizens were unable to work and generate income, yet they were incurring expenses associated with home and business repairs, disaster-related injuries, and replacing food lost in the storms and associated flooding.

USVI needed a Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance System (D-SNAP) available immediately to deliver help. In only a matter of a few weeks, the RedMane team quickly configured its mCase platform to capture applications, determine eligibility, and issue benefits. RedMane personnel then went onsite to community locations throughout the islands to support USVI staff as they performed application intake and benefit disbursement with mCase.

Intuitive and Mobile, with Embedded Analytics

The mCase for D-SNAP solution helped the USVI deliver aid to the most vulnerable at the moment of need. Because it was mCase, it was intuitive to use and worked as well on tablets and phones as it did on laptops. And, the solution had all the audit controls and necessary reports and analytics needed for oversight and governance.
