RedMane Technology LLC, a Chicago-based software solutions and systems integration firm, was selected to implement its cloud-based Restorative Justice solution for the County of Marin Probation Department.

The solution, part of RedMane’s mCase Community Supervision suite, makes it easy to plan, conduct, and follow up on victim-offender dialogue sessions.  mCase streamlines referrals, speeds assessments, and automates program eligibility determination, thereby improving overall department efficiency. 

The Marin County Restorative Justice Program, run by the Marin County Probation Department, helps bring healing and reparation in the aftermath of crime.  It offers those affected by a crime an opportunity to speak, share their experience, and receive information and support in a safe environment.  It also allows those who have done wrong to accept responsibility and take steps to repair the harm. 

With mCase, Marin can reduce the use of paper-based forms, eliminate manual scheduling, and automate correspondence and post-session surveys.  As a result, Marin staff can focus more on preparing for and conducting these sensitive and important sessions, increasing participant engagement, and producing meaningful outcomes.

The solution runs securely in the cloud and provides reports and dashboards to manage the overall process.
