Taking a Medicaid System to the Next Level

Missouri needed a partner to maintain, enhance, and upgrade its Medicaid Eligibility Determination and Enrollment System (MEDES). This mission critical system supports 800,000 Missourians receiving Medicaid and processes more than 10,000 Medicaid applications per month.

It is based on the IBM Social Program Management platform, also known as Curam Software, and uses technology ranging from Cognos and Hadoop to Informatica and FileNet for Document Management.

RedMane answered the call, and brought eligibility, human services, and technical expertise to the State. Today, we are providing design, development, integration, testing, system architecture, database administration, and deployment services to optimize the system.

Better for the State and for Medicaid recipients

RedMane is working closely with Missouri’s Department of Social Services to keep MEDES available, properly functioning, and in compliance with federal and state regulations.

By bringing-to-bear a proven set of maintenance and operations approaches, practices, and processes, we are helping the State achieve the highest levels of system performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.

It is astounding how much was achieved in such a short period of time. The mCase system performed flawlessly as we used it to take applications and provide D-SNAP benefits across the territory. We appreciate the partnership that we have with RedMane. They stood with us at a very difficult time and used their expertise to provide a solution that we desperately needed.
