State of Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities Selects RedMane Technology to Implement Modern Incident Management System Serving 30,000 Florida Providers
CHICAGO, IL — The State of Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) has selected RedMane Technology to implement a modern, cloud-based Incident Management System (IMS) designed to enhance the safety, accountability, and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities across the state.
The new system, powered by RedMane’s mCase platform, will replace legacy processes with a comprehensive Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that streamlines incident reporting, improves communication between APD and its 30,000-provider network, and delivers advanced analytics for data-driven decision-making.
The agency serves more than 60,000 Floridians with the following disabilities: people severely impaired by autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Phelan-McDermid syndrome, and children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability.
“Our focus has always been to build technology that serves people,” said Tony Lakier, founder and CEO of RedMane Technology. “We understand the importance of timely, accurate, and compassionate response in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This system will help APD do just that—empowering their staff and providers with the tools they need to deliver care with confidence, clarity, and care.”
Key Features of the New IMS Include:
- Streamlined reporting and follow-up: providers can directly enter incident reports and follow-up information, reducing delays and improving data accuracy.
- Advanced business intelligence: real-time dashboards and analytics tools offer insights into trends, performance, and risk areas.
- Integrated communication: facilitates multi-directional communication between APD and providers for faster resolution and collaboration.
- Holistic client view: integrates data from internal and external sources to support more informed, person-centered decision-making.
- Structured Implementation: the project follows a Phase Gate Review process to ensure quality, transparency, and alignment with APD’s strategic goals
RedMane’s mCase platform has been successfully deployed in similar human services environments across the country, including the Florida Department of Children and Families.
