Raeánn Bacchus has joined RedMane Technology to help RedMane clients transform their human services operations and modernize their technology to better protect those at-risk, enable self-sufficiency for individuals and families, and promote personal well-being.

She brings almost 20 years of experience in child welfare, public assistance, and homeless prevention as a child protection investigator, social services director, and statewide human services leader.

Self-Sufficiency Expertise

Raeánn joins RedMane from Florida’s Department of Children and Families (DCF), where she was a deputy assistant secretary.  In that role, she provided oversight and leadership for Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, care coordination, and other vital eligibility programs throughout Florida. 

Before the statewide position, Raeánn was the southern regional leader for all of DCF’s child welfare, economic self-sufficiency, and behavioral health programs from Miami-Dade to the Florida Keys.  Her work focused on integrated service delivery, prevention, and disaster and relief assistance. 

Child Welfare Expertise

Before joining DCF in senior leadership roles, Raeánn served in key positions with community-based child and family services organizations.  She led and enhanced programs focused on juvenile diversion, homeless prevention, and kinship and foster care, among other areas.

Raeánn started her career at DCF as a child protection investigator, prior to being promoted to a child protection supervisor.  In these capacities, she implemented strategies to address human trafficking, better prepare foster parents, and accelerate foster care licensing.
