Powerful Prevention Services for Child Welfare
The Southern First Nations (SFN) Network of Care in Manitoba needed a mobile case management solution to support its innovative “Restoring the Sacred Bonds” child welfare prevention program.
The SFN sought state-of-the-art capabilities that could track prenatal and postnatal support to at-risk mothers and children. The solution needed to work everywhere, even outside of internet and cell coverage.
RedMane helped them implement mCase, the modern and mobile case management system, to manage the delivery of services and the gathering and analysis of performance outcome metrics.
mCase, which runs via a mobile application and in the cloud, allows caseworkers to conveniently complete intakes and assessments, coordinate on case plans, and offer and track services for mothers and children. With mCase, caseworkers can easily collaborate across agencies to fully integrate services and resources within the Southern Network.
mCase provides reports and dashboards to track progress and performance outcomes. This allows specialists to refine their strategies, target their efforts, and provide early intervention. It also facilitates the integrity and transparency of the measurement and reporting of performance outcome metrics.
Moving into the future
Excited about the success achieved so far, the SFN is looking for other opportunities to modernize its operations. RedMane continues to provide management and technical support of the system so SFN can focus fully on children, mothers, and families.
