• Better Child Welfare Outcomes

The province of Alberta, with a population over four million, wanted to improve child welfare outcomes. It knew getting caseworkers into the homes of children and families in need was a vital part of the solution. The province’s existing system wasn’t mobile-friendly, and caseworker visits were manually intensive and paper-based. Information was always out of date.

Alberta needed a mobile child welfare solution that worked flawlessly everywhere, including in remote areas of the province. And, it had to work with iOS, Android, and Windows devices. The province chose RedMane and mCase to solve its problem. mCase made it easy for caseworkers to view crucial information, capture interview notes, record sessions with video, and take pictures right from their phone, tablet, or laptop – even when outside of cellular network range and regardless of the type of device.

Staff could synchronize information later when connectivity was available, all without having to perform any additional data entry. All the information fully integrated with the province’s legacy child welfare system.

    Child and Family Focused

The mCase for child welfare solution enabled Alberta caseworkers to do what they do best, get out of the office and help protect children and strengthen families. And it eliminated the paper chase and kept all information up-to-date so the visits were effective and efficient.
